East Sussex WRAS is a registered charitable company, registered with both the Charity Commission and Companies House. Every year WRAS receives between 2-3,000 calls for help. The main areas of expenditure for WRAS are veterinary bills, ambulance and transportation bills, purchase of equipment and supplies and our rescue phone line and mobiles.
East Sussex WRAS spends the majority of its money on the practical help for wildlife casualties, paying veterinary bills, ambulance expenses, keeping a mobile phone rescue service running, purchases the equipment needed to rescue casualties, training of medics, the purchase of cages, erecting pens as well as food and other disposable items needs for the care of wildlife casualties. A small amount of money is also spent on fundraising, and educational work.
